Sony’s Airpeak S1 drone takes Alpha cameras to the air

Back at CES 2021, Sony revealed plans to launch a brand new drone enterprise referred to as Airpeak that will be devoted to taking its Alpha full-frame mirrorless cameras into the air. Now the primary drone beneath that model has been launched, the Airpeak S1.

Despite being billed by Sony because the “world’s smallest drone that may be outfitted with a full-size mirrorless interchangeable-lens Alpha digital camera,” the Airpeak S1 continues to be fairly the beast, measuring 20.75 x 23.38 x 20.25 in (52.7 x 59.4 x 51.4 cm) with out together with the 4 17-inch props within the calculation. And the girth expands to 39.88 in (101.3 cm) when the touchdown gear is raised throughout flight.
