Kroger launches drone delivery service

Kroger is launching its drone supply pilot program this week.

The grocery chain has partnered with Drone Express to make deliveries to prospects’ properties or to the present location of their cellular phone by way of drones flown by licensed pilots.

The deliveries shouldn’t have to be made simply to prospects’ properties.

“The potentialities for purchasers are infinite – we are able to allow Kroger prospects to ship hen soup to a sick pal or get quick supply of olive oil in the event that they run out whereas cooking dinner,” stated Beth Flippo, chief expertise officer for Telegrid Technologies, the corporate that owns Drone Express.
